I started telling stories in 1987 at a summer camp and just kept on telling. In 1992 I joined the late "Grandpa" Paul Dexter in planning our first Tellabration. The Southbay Storytellers have been doing Tellabration every year since then. I keep the Southbay group going. I also mentor tellers, teach children how to tell and promote storytelling in California.
I tell California History stories in schools. My summer camp stories are fiction and Bible Stories. I like all ages but prefer first grade and above. I often tell to age groups from 5 to 70 in the same audience. Yes, it is a challenge.

I was original member of Storytelling Assn of CA and helped write the bylaws for the group. I enjoy encouraging others in their storytelling.
