Although I tell my share of stylized Aesop's fables, folk tales, and rowdy urban legends, other storytellers point out that telling those "Tickled Tales" using word play is my strength and my signature. Benefiting from my 30+ year career as a speech and language pathologist, my intimate knowledge of word structure has made it easy and entertaining for me to "warp the words" of a story using word play strategies like "spoonerisms" and other playful twists.
