Actress, storyteller, teacher, and trainer, Jill Johnson performs and teaches from her home on Whidbey Island in Washington State.

"The core of my storytelling comes from teaching and training - in Africa, Southeast Asia, the South Pacific - and here at home. I love using storytelling to build a sense of community; in a classroom, a library, a meeting, a theater... wherever!"

Jill has performed and given workshops in Washington, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Oregon, California and overseas. She has been a featured performer with Humanities Washington, the Bay Area Storytelling Festival (CA), and the "Haunting in the Hills" festival in Tennessee. She also toured in Africa, performing and giving workshops in Cameroon and South Africa.

Her one woman show, "Little, But OH My!", depicts the life of Berte Olson, the first woman to skipper a ferry boat on Puget Sound. Her newest show, "Rebecca", follows Washington State pioneer, Rebecca Ebey, across the Oregon Trail from Missouri to WA
