Judith Black is a professional storyteller with a national following. Her TED talk on storytelling and climate disruption has been widely viewed and used as the basis for performances and action. She has created a new program on earth stewardship for young folks. She recently created Bittersweet Midnights which ran for 15 performances at the Salem Theatre Company and That Fading Scent: A Seditious Comedy About Women and Aging.The Orlando Sentinel says about this show:
“This is the thinking woman's version of Menopause: The Musical,.....Black is a warm and dynamic storyteller with a wry sense of humor.......... Smart and undeniably funny”

Featured ten times at the National Storytelling Festival, and three times as Teller-in Residence at the International Storytelling Center, in 2001 she was inducted into the National Storytelling Network's (largest storytelling membership organization in the world) Circle of Excellence "For exceptional commitment and exemplary contribution to the art of storytelling.” . In 2010 she won the MassMouth Big Mouthoff with a 4 minute story about her son??&trade;s return home from combat duty in Iraq.

She has performed and taught across the globe, including South Africa, Finland, France, Sweden, and the Netherlands, and has worked as a consultant for Unilever, Disney World, the Rockwell Museum and others.
