Carolyn Stearns, has stories to tell! Historical stories are a favorite genre, but she shares all varieties.
Carolyn serves at the CT. Liaison to the National Storytelling Network. She has been a blogger and committee member for LANES – New England??&trade;s storytelling organization and presently is serving on the Board of Directors for CT. Storytelling Center. A special project for CT Storytelling is producer of the CT. Campus Slammer now into year 5 including 2013, NSN Regional Spotlight Event.
Memorable performances have included the 2014 National Story Slam in Phoenix, AZ. The Big E in Springfield, MA., Ocean House in RI and many libraries, schools , historical societies and museums.
Carolyn and her husband live in Mansfield CT. on the family farm, Mountain Dairy. They have four children and two grandchildren. Her past experience includes 33 years as the leader of a 4-H club and coach to students in FFA. (youth agricultural organization) Carolyn is currently employed by EASTCONN.org as storyteller in residence. Carolyn has a reputation as a motivational - organizational whirlwind.
