Heritage "Keepers"

Those who are known for preserving, collecting, and passing along the traditional folkways, music, art, traditions and customs are called "Keepers". They keep the traditions alive by sharing them with others and passing them from one generation to the next. Keepers are vitally important to our families, communities, and societies. The Roswell Folk & Heritage Bureau encourages "Keepers" through programs and workshops for tellers, folk musicians, and those interested in our folkways. A special oral arts certificate, a 32 hour program of work, is available to tellers through this group's efforts. Contact: Dotty Etris, info@cvb.roswell.ga.us, www.cvb.roswell.ga.us
