Storytelling concert on Friday, July 31, 7:30pm, Marriott Country Club Plaza Hotel.  Two great American pastimes, storytelling and baseball are the themes at the National Storytelling Network’s Story Slam.  The public can participate by crafting a 5 minute true personal story with baseball lingo and hit it out of the park at the Royal Grand Slam. Tickets can be purchased at the door.  Info at StoryNet.org. Suitable for adults and teens. $15 per person

 

National Storytelling Network’s Storytelling Concert on Sunday, August 2, 2:30pm at the Marriott Country Club Plaza Hotel.  Enjoy an afternoon concert featuring nationally-recognized storytellers and musicians: Grammy award winner Bill Harley, Cross-Cultural storyteller Emily Lansana and Brazilian storyteller Antonio Rocha.  Tickets can be purchased at the door. Suitable for age 8 and older. $15 per adult.  Every paying adult can bring 4 children for free.
