National Storytelling Festival
The National Storytelling Festival is produced every October by the International Storytelling Center in Jonesborough, Tennessee.
In conjunction with the National Storytelling Festival, NSN produces two events:
Stories Work
Stories Work is a series of workshops presented during the National Storytelling Festival, produced by NSN’s Special Interest Groups. Presenters are chosen by committee members who are representatives of each SIG involved.
The workshops are usually held in the Jonesborough Repertory Theatre. Tickets are available during the festival at the NSN Tent and on the Thursday before the Festival at the Jonesborough Visitor's Center. Unsold tickets are available at the door.
More information on each workshop is available – click to download.
National Story Night
National Story Night is an annual concert held on the Thursday evening before the National Storytelling Festival in Jonesborough, Tennessee. The proceeds from the concert support the NSN Grants Program.
