Garden State Storytelling League
The Garden State Storytellers' League was founded in 1982. Membership in
the league is open to adults who are storytellers or are interested in the
Art of Storytelling. Monthly meetings, workshops, and Story Swaps are
held. Storytellers perform at various places such as museums, libraries,
community fairs, Girl/Boy Scout meetings, etc. Members receive Here and
There, a newsletter, a yearbook with a themed annotated storytelling
bibliography, Story Art, a magazine for storytellers, and information

The Jersey Shore Storytellers
A six year old organization of beginning to professional adult tellers,
and appreciative listeners who meet for monthly swaps, present a yearly
Tellabration and serve as a clearing house for booking its members.

League of New Jersey Storytellers
The League of New Jersey Storytellers (LNJS) is a non-profit organization
that meets at 7:30 P.M. on the second Wednesday of the month at the
Bridgewater library. LNJS members generally live in central New Jersey. At
our meetings we swap stories and plan for storytelling events in which we
participate. Some of our members enjoy telling. Others enjoy listening.

serves low-income schools and other special needs groups
in New Jersey through long-term storytelling programs. We

Voices From the Sand
A small gathering of South Jersey tellers who meet to share the joys and
discoveries of storytelling on the third Tuesday of every month. Also
