2.Storyteller's Marketplace

The Storyteller’s Market Place is off and running. Since the July unveiling, many members have listed their products for sell on the Market Place. Join this growing number to make this the one stop shopping place story lovers to visit and shop.

A quick visit to the Market Place will reveal that almost any taste and interest is covered. Judith Black has an array of products, from her Banned in Western Suburbia: Stories about adult passions, choices and relationships to her CD of stories to inspire girls in their strengths, Blooming: Stories for girl’s to grow on.

Delight in listening to David Holt’s Hairyman meets Tailybone or Don “Buck P” Creacy’s stories where humor and warmth come together in And That’s Nearly the Truth, Heart Stories from the Wrong Side of Town or Mother & I:  Romance 101.  Then there is Linda Gorman’s Common Sense and Uncommon Fun which is so wonderful that it has won numerous awards.

Connie Regan-Blake has listed many fine products, from Dive-Into Stories: a Telling Experience to her spine-tingling Spirits Walk: Chilling Tales for Teenagers and Adults. Alan Irvine satisfies history buffs with his outstanding Blood on the Moon: The Southern Front of the French and Indian War. His range of tales also includes something for the younger set with Goldilocks and Company: Traditional Tales and Old Favorites.

These are just a few of the members who have listed storytelling products. There are many other talented artists who have listed great products. Check out Donna Washington’s selection, Jay O’Callahan’s products, Diane Wolkstein’s Romping for children, Susan Stone’s Jewish tales, Rico Saskill’s multicultural tales and Kate Dudding’s stories of lighthouses. These and more are available from members. Take a moment, visit the site, purchase some products and list your storytelling products for others to enjoy.

3. Renew Your Membership Online

Renew your membership online by creating your account with the Marketplace. Think of it as setting up an account for something like Amazon.com. You will be creating a new username and password. Once you have this done, you may then purchase your membership online. With this account, you can also purchase any items that are listed on the Marketplace, and, since you are a member, if you sell items related to storytelling, you can actually sell them on our Marketplace. (Remember that Marketplace and Memberclicks are two separate entities.)

If you have created an account with Marketplace and you are having difficulty logging in, please e-mail chris@storynet.org.
