Exciting Changes for the NSN Online Directory Coming

The new Directory has undergone a redesign process and has a brand new name. The Teller Pages invite members to list their services starting December 1 for unveiling in the beginning of January 2008. For a sneak preview, visit the NSN tent at the National Storytelling Festival between Friday, October 5 and Sunday, October 7. Meet the designer on Saturday, October 6 and give him your feedback on the design and new features.   The NSN tent is located behind Mauk’s and beside the Crafty Peddler.

Teller Pages will give each member the opportunity to have video and audio clips and a short biography listed. There is an area to list your performance information. Members will be able to visit the “back page” of their individual Teller Page to locate information on how many people have viewed the listing, with breakdowns on video, audio, and personal website visits viewed.

People searching for storytellers can search on first and last name as well as your stage name. They can also search by state, region, zipcode and if you conduct workshops. There is a way to search for the age range of audiences for which you are willing to work as well.

NSN will be selling listings at the Festival. All listings for the Teller Pages will be twenty ($20) and include the audio and video clips. Each member will be responsible for entering their own information. See you at the NSN tent!
