Keynote: “Connecting Heart and Spirit through Story” by Eth-Noh-Tec
We all know the value of stories. We know the value of sharing our stories. We know the value of directly telling our stories. But, what about the storyteller?
In this time of disenfranchisement and isolation, overwork and over-stimulation, it is important not to overlook the ways in which we can use story to connect heart and spirit for ourselves and with others. Expanding and making connections should not be hard work, but work eased sweetly from the heart with joyful spirit.
Storytellers are well positioned to make these connections in these ways. And there are so many ways we connect! Indeed, that connective ‘issue’ is what makes storytelling special! How do we do that!? Where do we do that? Why do we do that?
