Judith Black

Judith Black is a professional storyteller with a national following. Last year she was inducted into the NSN's Circle of Excellence "For exceptional commitment and exemplary contribution to the art of storytelling." She also opened a new one-woman show "Retiring the Champ" which explores issues of aging and dying in America. She has presented at numerous conferences and festivals and received many. many awards for her work. Judith Black brings to her storytelling a varied background in education, theater, and creative writing. Having studied early childhood education at Wheelock College, Ms Black taught for three years before moving to London where she studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. Later she toured as an actress for two years with Little Flags Theater Company. Judith was a founder and ten year board member of The Three Apples Storytelling Festival.

Onawumi Jean Moss

Onawumi Jean Moss of Amherst, Massachusetts is a storyteller, narrator, keynote speaker and author. The performances of this talking book and rhythm master encourage pride of heritage, appreciation of cultural differences and recognition of kinship. This Tennessee native's first stories were learned from her parents and in church. Her mother, a self-taught reader conveyed, by example, the inherent relationship of context and story and life-lessons. Her father, a natural-born comedian, told riveting night-sky stories as well as eerie, sometimes funny, ghost stories. Today Onawumi is an accomplished storyteller in her own right- a significant accomplishment considering the fact that over the course of twenty-one (21) years, she was a full-time Associate Dean of Students at Amherst College (1985-2006).

Bobby Norfolk

Three-time Emmy Award-winner and Parents’ Choice honoree, Bobby Norfolk promotes cultural diversity, self-esteem and character education through his “story-theatre” performances. From keynote speaker to TV host, recording artist to park ranger and stand-up comedian, Norfolk's unique life path is reflected in his humorous, animated stories. His popularity stems from stories rich in creativity, lively sound effects, high energy and vibrant 3D characters. He combines comedy and drama to magically weave into each tale principles that teach valuable lessons. Delighting audiences since 1975, Bobby’s impressive resume includes three Emmy awards as host for the CBS television series “Gator Tales” (1988–1992) and the Emmy award nominated cable series “Children’s Theater at Bobby’s House.” Bobby also receives rave reviews for his adult presentations, staff development workshops and inspirational keynotes.
